Another quarterfinal saw German Philipp Petzschner erase Slovak Lukas Lacko 6-4, 6-3. Petzschner will meet the Roger Federer-Philipp Kohlschreiber victor on Saturday. The top-seeded former world No. 1 Federer is a five-time Halle champion and has won his last 27 matches here.
